Dr. Michael Maher has worked in Catholic ministry since 1989 for the Diocese of Kansas City-Saint Joseph, the Archdiocese of Saint Louis, Loyola University Chicago, and the Archdiocese of Chicago. He has worked as a campus minister, faculty member, and director of religious education. His travels as a trip leader, researcher, and consultant have included Peru, Cuba, Mexico, Poland, Uganda, Canada, Germany, Spain, Kenya, Tanzania, Costa Rica, Brazil, Ireland, Holland, France, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, Puerto Rico, Austria, and many locations in the United States. Dr. Maher earned his PhD in education from Saint Louis University. He earned an MPS in pastoral studies from Loyola University Chicago, and he completed the pre-theology program at Saint Meinrad Seminary. He also holds a BSE in education and an MA in religious education from the University of Kansas.
